As a mum of 6 amazing little people I am passionate about cycling for all.
I’m an activity lover and have taken part in cycling events since 2007, I have also run over 100 1/2 marathons, 50 marathons, a handful of triathlons, cycled all over Europe with my children.
I am a current researcher studying the effects of physical activity on our mental wellbeing and currently working for British Cycling as a community developer in Cornwall.
I would love to inspire as many women as possible to get out on bikes (or back on their bikes) and I am keen to assist all organisations to explore how we can remove those barriers. I know about the barriers of being a mum who’s active.
It’s not easy being an active mum but it is absolutely worth it to encourage and inspire the next generation.
I love the way many developments have been made to allow our children to access tag along bikes or ride on board- I am also very passionate about learn to ride for all. My 4 year old recently rode part of a closed road cycle route in Europe with myself and her siblings on her own bike! They all take part in cycling events and multi sports with me.
